Fincastle's Bluegrass Roots In-Person
Fincastle held the nation’s first multi-day bluegrass festival in 1965. Celebrate Fincastle's bluegrass legacy with Appalachian music, folktales, and history.
- 10:00 AM: Storyteller Clint Atwater will share Jack Tales and stories from Appalachia. Great for all ages.
- 11:00 AM: performance by Roanoke Valley Dulcimers. Great for all ages.
- 12:30 PM: Josh Urban will present on the history of Bluegrass and Appalachian music. Best for adults.
